Semester half over :)

I cannot believe how fast this semester has gone. Seems like yesterday it just started. A month from now I’ll Β be taking my final exams πŸ™‚ Only one semester is standing between me and that wonderful piece of paper. My last semester will start in January, and I’m most certain it will be my most challenging. I know it won’t be easy, but with Steve’s support anything is possible. I am truly blessed to have wonderful people in my life. I look forward to all that lies ahead for us and could not ask for more.

My grand baby

My grand baby

My first biological grand baby, due May 4th πŸ™‚

My beautiful grand baby. I am overjoyed about being a grandmother. As I was looking closer at the picture it looks to me as if the baby is sticking his/her tongue out,Β definitely related to me πŸ™‚

Ups and Downs

We’ve had emotional ups and downs last week. Steve’s father passed away on September 5th and we were in Savannah, TN all that week. Edward Stowell was a great man I’m so glad that I knew him and got to make memories with him. Steve’s brother moved from South Dakota to move in with Mom to help her out. On the up side of things, I was told on September 6th that I am going to be a Grandmother πŸ™‚ Austin and Crystal are pregnant and the doctor is pretty sure it will be a healthy pregnancy. Ms. Haylie is 3 now and my son loves her so much, so technically I am already a Grandmother.

School is going great and I am really excited to find out what hospital I’ll be interning at. That is all for now πŸ™‚

Time goes by fast

I can’t believe it’s already August. I’ve been busy with school details and getting Hunter ready for his senior year. I think it’s rather cool that Hunter and I will graduate the same year πŸ™‚ I might be doing my practicum at morristown hospital, but not sure yet. Seems like yesterday the summer just got started and now it’s almost fall. Fall is my most favorite season πŸ™‚ something about the crisp air and colors on the trees that really makes me happy. I look forward to all the challenges ahead of me.

School

I can’t believe I only have two semesters left until I graduate. I was going over the books I need and felt overwhelmed a bit, but very excited. This will be a challenging semester, but I’m ready. I think we’re doing our practicum at the new hospital πŸ™‚ I was looking over a study guide for my exam for my credentials and it looks like the test is 150 questions and I’ll have 31/2 hours to take it. According to my advisor I will already have my test done and know my score before walking across the stage. I look forward to graduating and starting on my career path.

Fireworks

We had a great time last night having a cookout and fireworks. Hunter worked on Monday, so we had our 4th on the 5th. It was great fun and I think everyone had a good time.

Good times :)

I went to Elkmont to see the lightning bugs and it was simply amazing. My parents went with me and that made it even more special. Camping at Elkmont was fun. We didn’t see any wild life this trip, but we heard coyotes and owls at night, which was very cool. Being in the woods surrounded by lightning bugs was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I would recommend that experience to everyone. Tomorrow, we are going on a picnic to enjoy National Get Outdoors day πŸ™‚ I love my life.
